Unsurprisingly plays just like Machstorm. And same as that game, the best part about this is the battle pod itself, with its enormous dome screen and powerful audio.
I played a few credits the other day and ended by three-starring the final Darth Vader level without much effort, so I doubt I’ll ever play it again. It’s little more than a virtual roller coaster. But if I ever do feel the need to get back into one of these pod games (of the few that we have here), there’s no question it’s going to be this one. And yes, it has everything to do with the Star Wars license. If you’re a fan, it’s worth experiencing.
By the way, don’t forget to toggle the camera view. Makes it feel that much more like you’re actually in the cockpit.
